New meth standard addresses industry cowboys

Standards New Zealand has released its long awaited benchmark for the testing and remediation of P contaminated properties. Massey University environmental chemist Nick Kim, a top expert in P testing, says the standard will deter the meth testing cowboys, but won't prevent P from getting into houses in the first place. He says meth contamination in the home, from smoking the drug, is one of the smallest health risks associated with problem.
