Helen Manson is a New Zealand award winning humanitarian photographer, based in Uganda. Her work has taken her to some of the world's most challenging places, documenting natural and man made disasters and subsequent humanitarian crisis, working with some of the world's biggest non-profits and charities.
She has photographed ISIS wives in post war Iraq, the desperate plight of displaced Rohingya muslims in the world's largest refugee camp in Bangladesh, to child slaves in Ghana. Helen and husband Tim live in Kampala with their three young children - daughters Hope and Eva, and son Maz. She's just been in New Zealand on a speaking and photography tour.
