Iran's new supreme leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei appears to have issued a public statement for the first time. The statement attributed to Khamenei was read out on state-controlled television in Iran. In it he vowed to continue blocking the Strait of Hormuz, the world's busiest oil shipping channel. BBC's Chief International Correspondent Lyse  Doucet speaks with Kathryn.
