Missy Higgins was the biggest selling Australian artist of the year in 2008, and her second album 'On A Clear Night' went triple platinum. It won her two prestigious Australian Music Industry awards, and she began to break through into the tough American market. For a while she turned her back on music but thankfully the self-imposed exile didn't last.
