The day before the live broadcast in Whanganui, Kim Hill, her producer Mark Cubey, associate producer Amelia Nurse, and engineer Colin Pearce went to the Chronicle Glass studio, where Kim made a glass paperweight under the supervision of business co-owner and glass artist Katie Brown.
