Planning expert optimistic for South Auckland initiative

Tim Williams led the re-generation of east London, including developments for the 2008 Olympics, and is now CEO of the Committee for Sydney - an economic development group. He was in Auckland recently to have a look at the work being done on Auckland Council's "southern initiative", an ambitious effort to transform the poorer parts of South Auckland, which is in its initial stages.
