Our guest picking their favourite songs is composer & percussionist Gareth Farr. Gareth has made a name for being one of New Zealand's most prestigious composers.
After studying composition and percussion at the University of Auckland, Gareth was named the composer in residence by Chamber Music New Zealand at age 25 - The youngest person to have held that position.
Gareth continued doctoral studies in New York and in 2006 was honoured with a New Zealand Order of Merit.
His pieces have been performed by the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and the Royal New Zealand Ballet.
