Hailing from Mexico city the musical collective of Son Rompre Pera has thrilled audiences across the globe with their entertaining fusion of ska, rock and cumbia music
Featuring the rockabilly brothers and bandmates Kacho, Kilos and Mongo Gama, their colourful and uplifting set often unfolded into mayhem as they blending marimba, bass, electric guitar and a broad array of percussion on the Bowl stage at WOMAD 2024 in Ngamotu, New Plymouth.
