Donald Trump says the US could do a second strike on Venezuela if "they don't behave".
Speaking to reporters on Air Force One, the US President also said that the Colombian president could be removed as part of "Operation Colombia" and that Mexico needed to get its act together.
Trump insisted the United States is "in charge" of Venezuela after the seizure of Nicolas Maduro, but was also dealing with the new interim leadership in Caracas.
"We're dealing with the people who just got sworn in. Don't ask me who's in charge because I'll give you an answer and it'll be very controversial," Trump told reporters when asked if he had spoken to interim leader Delcy Rodriguez.
Pressed on what he meant, Trump said: "It means we're in charge."
Trump said a large number of Nicolas Maduro's Cuban security personnel were killed in the US operation to seize the Venezuelan leader.
"You know, a lot of Cubans were killed yesterday," Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One, saying that there was "a lot of death on the other side, unfortunately."
Trump also doubled down on his claim that Greenland should become part of the United States, despite calls by Denmark's prime minister to stop "threatening" the territory.
"We need Greenland from the standpoint of national security, and Denmark is not going to be able to do it."
He also said that Cuba was "ready to fall", that he did not believe Ukraine struck the Putin residence and that Iran would get "hit very hard" by the United States if more protesters die during demonstrations that have entered a second week.
"We're watching it very closely. If they start killing people like they have in the past, I think they're going to get hit very hard by the United States."
