Dairy prices have risen for the first time in nearly two months in the latest auction.
The average price is up 2 percent to $US3303 a tonne.
It follows the previous auction's 0.4 percent drop.
The price for whole milk powder, which has a key influence of farmer payouts, went up 1.9 percent to $US3133 a tonne.
Prices for most other products rose, while the volumes sold were down almost 6 percent on the previous auction.
Dairy prices have been soft since mid-May when they touched a two-year high.
