The future for Scoop

The independent online media outlet Scoop raised almost $100,000 from crowdfunding this year to re-establish itself as a community-owned charitable trust. After 16 years in business, it’s also begun charging companies that use its content to help cover its costs. Will this work? And what will donors get in return for financial support? Mediawatch talks to its departing managing editor Alastair Thompson.
