A cyclist has died in a crash with a truck-and-trailer unit in Christchurch this afternoon.
Emergency services are at the scene, at the intersection of Waterloo and Carmen Roads in Christchurch.
A police spokesperson said the Serious Crash Unit was present and investigations were under way.
Initial indications were that the collision happened when the truck turned left on to Waterloo Road.
Further details would be released when the family of the victim, a man in his 30s, was informed.
