A small West Coast town wants its bus shelter back after it vanished from its spot sometime in the past few months.

Police said the shelter disappeared from Torea Street in the town of Granity, 28km north-east of Westport.
It was likely stolen between June and August, while building work was being completed in the area.
Police said it was highly likely someone knew where the shelter was, due to it being a "unique item".
