A man has walked away uninjured after a train and car collided in the Waikato.
Emergency services were called to a railway crossing at Burwood Road in Matamata at 7.30am.
Police said the car the male driver was in was hit by a logging freight train.
Burwood Rd, Firth St and State Highway 27 were closed following the crash but have since re-opened.
