A passenger on an Air New Zealand flight to Los Angeles was restrained after failing to comply with instructions from the crew.
An Air New Zealand spokesperson said police met the flight when it arrived in Los Angeles about 11.13am on Friday (local time).
The passenger was restrained while the plane was in the air.
The airline said crew were trained to handle such situations and it would not comment further.
