Fire is believed to have destroyed a house north of Auckland early this morning.
A Fire and Emergency spokeswoman said they were called to the Wellsford property shortly before 1am.

The attached garage was able to be saved, but the large single-storey house was understood to have been destroyed.
No one was injured.
Four fire trucks and a fire investigator remain at the scene.
At the height of the fire 13 fire trucks were there.
