A man who died while diving in Doubtful Sound has been named.
Ian Gregory Wells, 54, was from Roxburgh in Central Otago.
Police said Mr Wells got into trouble during a dive trip on Saturday near Bauza Island.
A doctor who was in another boat performed CPR, but was unable to revive him.
Two other divers who helped were taken to Invercargill Hospital as a precaution.
