Colin Craig's defamation case against his former press secretary has wrapped up in the High Court in Auckland.
The former Conservative Party leader is suing Rachel MacGregor for defaming him on three occasions, in the midst of speculation about the nature of the pair's relationship.
Ms MacGregor is counter-suing Mr Craig for defaming her on four occasions - in two press conferences, in a letter to Conservative Party members and in a booklet delivered to 1-point-6 million households.
The case stems from a sexual harassment claim Ms MacGregor laid on the day of her sudden resignation, two days before the 2014 election.
The pair reached a confidential settlement resolving that claim and a financial dispute.
Justice Hinton has reserved her decision.
