A motorcyclist has been found dead at the scene of a crash in the Queenstown Lakes District.

Emergency services were called to the single-motorcycle crash on Cardrona Valley Road between Wanaka and Cardrona about 7.30am.
The Serious Crash Unit has examined the scene and is investigating the crash.
