Two men underwent surgery in an Auckland hospital this afternoon after both were shot in Papatoetoe today.
Police received reports of gunshots at 1.40pm on Chestnut Road by Murdoch Park.
Shortly afterwards, both men arrived at Middlemore Hospital with gunshot wounds.
Police say they're still not sure what happened.
