Police are investigating after a man was injured following an apparent drive-by shooting in Rotorua last night.

They were alerted to the incident at an address on Wrigley Road about 11.20pm.
The man arrived at Rotorua Hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg.
Police are working to identify the offending vehicle and the individuals involved.
They say there isn't an ongoing risk to the public.
