Two people who climbed to the top of Auckland's Ferry Building have come down after a nearly five-hour stand-off with police.
The two people came down without incident and were in custody while charges were considered, police said.
Police said they were alerted to two people at the top of the Ferry Building on Quay St at about 12.15pm.
The pair reportedly broke into the building on Thursday.
Police said there was no immediate threat to the public, but they cordoned off the area as a precaution.
One person was seen atop the building, while the other was inside the clock tower.
Ferry services are still on schedule, a spokesperson said, but some people may be asked to take a detour before boarding.
The incident comes a day after a gunman killed two people and later died himself at a nearby construction site.
