Hamilton District Court is back to normal operations after it was evacuated for an hour this morning.
Police said a threat was made around 10.30am and officers attended, but nothing of concern was found.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand was put on standby and police units were outside the court in central Hamilton as a precaution.
Inquiries are ongoing to identify who made the threat.
A worker at a nearby business said they could see about 30 people outside the courthouse just after midday.
