Wellington City Council has undergone a minor reshuffle to its committee structures after the departure of former councillor Tamatha Paul.
Paul won the Wellington Central seat for the Green Party in the 2023 general election.
Mayor Tory Whanau said she made changes to advisory groups and some external committees alongside her review.
"Council committees are responsible for important decision making and driving our work programme here at Wellington City Council," Whanau said.
"There has been no adjustment to the broader committee structure, and limited changes to councillor nominations. I have sought to ensure continuity and reduce disruption with these appointments.
"The changes are designed to reflect councillors' strengths, and to acknowledge where there has been a clear commitment to collaborate and work together towards outcomes for Wellington."
Other memberships will go to a vote at the next council meeting on 29 February.
Some of the changes include Whanau replacing Councillor Tim Brown as the representative on the Wellington Water committee.
Councillor Brown will be appointed as Kōrau Tūāpapa / Environment and Infrastructure committee chairperson, with councillor Rebecca Matthews nominated as deputy.
Matthews will also be nominated to the Unaunahi Māhirahira / Audit and Risk committee.
Councillor Nīkau Wi Neera will be appointed chairperseon of Pītau Pūmanawa / Grants subcommittee with Councillor Nicola Young nominated as deputy.
Councillor Ray Chung will be nominated to the Koata Hātepe / Regulatory Processes committee.
CouncillorTony Randle will be nominated as Safe and Sustainable Transport Forum chairperson with Councillor Sarah Free nominated as alternate.
