A person has died in a motorbike crash in South Auckland.
Police said the crash, which did not involve any other vehicles, happened on Māngere's Oruarangi Road about 6pm Sunday.
"The road remains blocked while the serious crash unit conduct a scene examination," police said in a statement at 9pm.
"Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing."
