Five people have been injured after a crash in Auckland's New Lynn.
The two-vehicle crash happened at the intersection of Portage Rd and Clark St at about 11.30am, police said.
Three people had serious injuries, St John confirmed and two had minor injuries.
Four of the people injured were taken to Auckland City Hospital, while the fifth didn't need transportation.
The road was closed for some time, but police advised it had reopened shortly after 2pm.
The serious crash unit had also been advised.
