Emergency services have been at the scene of a truck fire on State Highway One, in Counties Manukau on Wednesday morning.
A police spokesperson said the incident, which was first reported at 10.49am, had caused the highway near Ramarama to be blocked.
Southbound lanes of State Highway 1, between the Great South Road on-ramp and the Ramarama off-ramp were temporarily closed as a result.
The fire has since been put out, with no injuries reported.
Both southbound lanes are now unblocked, and traffic is flowing freely.
