A man was seriously injured following an assault in the Auckland CBD early on Wednesday morning.
Police said there was an altercation between two groups on Federal Street shortly before 5.30am, and they believe intoxication may have been a factor.
A man was seriously injured and taken to Auckland City Hospital, where he is now in a stable condition.
Two women aged 30 and 34, and a 20-year-old man have been arrested.
They will appear in the Auckland District Court at a later date.
