A police investigation has determined a woman's death in Whangārei over the weekend was not suspicious.
The woman was found dead at a Whau Valley, Whangārei home on Saturday.
Emergency services were called to the Moody Avenue address shortly before 5pm after the woman was found unresponsive, a police spokesperson said.
The police said Monday the death is now not considered suspicious and will be a coronial matter.
