One person has died after a serious crash that has shut a south Canterbury road.
The two vehicle crash happened on Milford Clandeboye Road, near Temuka, about 12.40pm.
One person has been taken to hospital with critical injuries.
The road is closed at the Rise Road intersection with motorists being diverted.
