A vehicle believed to have been used in an armed robbery at a Japanese Restaurant has been found, police say.
Officers were called to Tokyo Bay in Takapuna on Sunday night to reports of armed offenders entering with weapons, threatening staff and stealing items.
No injuries were reported.
The restaurant later posted online to say the event had been "extremely frightening for our team", but that all of their staff were safe.
On Friday, Police said a vehicle had been found that they think was used to flee the scene, and forensic examination of it had been carried out.
Police called for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
