State Highway 1 north of Auckland has reopened after a truck rollover earlier on Monday.

A police spokesperson said a truck rolled at 10.15am on Monday, blocking lanes in both directions near the intersections with Schiska and Otioro Roads near Topuni.

There were no reports of any injuries.

The Transport Agency said the road between Te Hana and Kaiwaka in the Topuni Forest area was now open with a temporary reduced speed limit of 50km/h.

At 2.30pm, NZTA said the road was still blocked while the truck was recovered and this would likely take until early evening.
