One person has died in a crash on Niagara-Tokanui Highway at Quarry Hills, Southland, on Saturday night.
Emergency services were called around 8.35pm after a ute rolled between McManus Road and Quarry Hills Fortification Road, said police.
One person died at the scene and two others received critical and serious injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
