Police are yet to interview three people still in hospital following a fatal crash in Martinborough last week.

One person died and three others were seriously injured when a car and a four-seater bike collided on Puruatanga Road on Thursday.

The British High Commission confirmed they were offering assistance to British nationals involved.

A police spokesperson said at this stage no charges had been laid in response to the crash.

Locals have been calling for changes to speed limits in the area as far back as 2018.
