Police believe a large fire at Hamilton car mechanics on Monday was arson.
Police are investigating the fire at Frankton Motor that ignited at around 11:30am.
At the fire's peak, 12 fire trucks and 35 firefighters were working to extinguish the blaze on Ellis Street.

In an update, police said a scene examination would take place on Tuesday.
"We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any activity at or around the premises yesterday morning leading up to the fire," Detective Sergeant Matt Lee said.
"This includes any CCTV or dashcam footage."

FENZ shift manager Blair Walklin confirmed to RNZ several customer's vehicles were affected.
He said the fire investigator was yet to give an exact number of vehicles lost in the fire.
A spokesperson for Frankton Motor told RNZ it had been a hard time for them.
They said they would be re-opening as soon as the building was ready and customers could go to their second Frankton branch in the meantime.
