Police have arrested a 20-year-old after a car mounted the footpath at the University of Auckland and hit a group of pedestrians.
The crash on Monday hospitalised three people. One remains in a serious but stable condition in Auckland City Hospital and two are recovering at home.

The driver was charged with three counts of careless driving causing injury and has been forbidden from driving, police said.
A witness told RNZ he saw the car swerving down Symonds Street, before veering onto the pavement outside the university's engineering school.
He told RNZ a person was sent flying, and another trapped under the car.
Police had not been able to confirm on Monday whether any of the victims were students at the university.
Outside the University of Auckland on Tuesday, a student said the crash was concerning, given the car came seemingly out of nowhere.
"We weren't expecting to walk out of class and see that," another said.
