Police are investigating a death at a Feilding property.
Police said they were called to a Campbell Street address at about 12.50pm on Tuesday after a person was found deceased.
The death was being treated as unexplained, they said.
A guard is in place at the property overnight and police said a scene examination would take place on Wednesday.
Police acknowledged their presence may be unsettling, but said they wanted to reassure Campbell Street residents that there was no cause for alarm.
