Police say a woman has been charged with murder over the death of a man in South Auckland on Tuesday.
Emergency services were called to a property on Mahia Road in Manurewa just before 10am on Tuesday, where a man was critically injured.
He died at the scene.
In a statement, Detective Inspector Shaun Vickers said a 32-year-old woman came to the Manukau police station on Wednesday morning.
"This woman has been spoken to and has now been charged with murder."
Police were not seeking anyone else in relation to the death, he said.
The woman is set to appear in the Manukau District Court on Thursday charged with murder.
