Police say a pedestrian struck by a car in Christchurch last week has died.
A man was seriously injured when he was hit on Halswell Road around 10.45am last Friday.
He died in hospital the following day.
A police spokesperson said their thoughts were with his family and loved ones.
Inquiries into the incident are continuing.
