Police have arrested three people in relation to a serious assault in Hamilton on Monday.
Police said the man was attacked by several people at a home in the Hamilton suburb of Fairview Downs.
He suffered critical life-threatening injuries and remained in a serious condition and was undergoing surgery on Friday, they said.
Police have charged two 20-year-old men and an 18-year-old woman in relation to the incident.
They have been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and aggravated burglarly.
The two men have been remanded in custody and will appear in Hamilton District Court on 6 November and 22 January 2026.
The woman is on bail and is set to appear in Hamilton District Court this Tuesday.
