More charges have been laid by police in their ongoing investigation into sexual offending at Dilworth School in Auckland.
A 72-year-old man is facing three counts of indecency with a boy aged between 12 and 16.
Police say the charges related to additional offending.
The accused man will appear in Auckland District Court on Wednesday.
A number of former staff have been jailed as part of the investigation after people were abused at the school.
The police investigation has uncovered hundreds of abuse cases.
The Dilworth Trust Board had earlier apologised and acknowledged decades of abuse at the school.
An independent inquiry made several recommendations.
