The Green Party is reaffirming its commitment to tax polluters, and to bringing in a capital gains tax.
It has laid out its fiscal plan, which costs out all its policies.
The document shows the bulk of new revenue will be collected by charging polluters, including farmers; enforcing a nitrate levy; and raising oil royalty rates.
The Green Party has also reiterated its plan to raise the top income rate for those earning more than $150,000 and to bring in a capital gains tax excluding the family home - which have both been ruled out by the Labour Party for its first term in government.
