Three people died in a crash involving two vehicles at Ngahinapouri, south west of Hamilton today.
It happened at about 5.30pm at an intersection on State Highway 39.
The three dead people were all from the one vehicle.
The police have been working this evening to investigate and to clear the scene, and advise the next of kin.
