The New Zealand cricketers have overcome a two hour rain interuption to beat Pakistan in the second one day international in Nelson.
The Black Caps cruised to their revised target thanks to some power hitting from opener Martin Guptil to score an eight wicket victory.

Rain started falling with the Black Caps 64 for 2 after 14 overs chasing 247 to win.
When they were able to return to the field their new target under the Duckworth Lewis scoring system had been changed to 151 runs off 25 overs.
They reached that with 7 balls to spare with Guptill unbeaten on 86 and Ross Taylor 45.
Earlier the Pakistani's started slowly before getting through to 246 for 9 in their 50 overs.
Mohammad Hafeez top scored with 60, while Shadab Khan and Hasan Ali scored half centuires late in the innings.
Lockie Ferguson finished with 3 wickets for 39 runs from his 10 overs, while Todd Astle and Tim Southee took 2 wickets each.
In reply New Zealand lost the inform Colin Munro for no score in the first over, while captain Kane Williamson fell in the ninth over for 19.

New Zealand won the first match by 61 runs under the Duckworth Lewis scoring system when rain forced a premature end at the Basin Reserve.
The third match is in Dunedin on Saturday.
