Ryan Fox has endured a tough final day at the Houston Golf Open in Texas.
Fox went into the final round tied for third and five shots off the lead at 12-under par, as he chased his first USPGA tour title.
However, his putter let him down, missing several key putts to post a one-over par 71, finishing 11-under for the tournament and sliding back to finish tied for 15th.
Australia's Min Woo Lee won the event, scrambling a par on the final hole to secure the title, having started the day with a four-shot lead.
He finished at 20-under, one shot ahead of world number one Scottie Scheffler and fellow American Gary Woodland.
Meanwhile, New Zealand's Steven Alker has finished tied for third at the latest Champions Tour event in California.
Alker sits third on the season championship award Charles Schwab Cup.
