NZ Warriors cult hero Bunty Afoa is off to Wests Tigers.
Afoa, who made 145 first grade appearances for the Warriors since debuting in 2016, has signed a one-year deal with Benji Marshall's team for next season.
The 29-year-old front-rower featured in both the NSW Cup premiership and NRL state championship wins in 2025.
Afoa said he was excited about the challenge ahead.
"In seeing what's been happening at the club and speaking with Benji, it's an exciting time to be involved and I'm looking forward to playing my part next season."
Head coach Marshall said Afoa's stature and experience was a welcome addition to his squad.
"He's got a great character and is widely respected around the league, not just for the way he plays, but how he carries himself on and off the field."
Afoa made just seven appearances for the first grade side this year, spending most of his season with the reserves.
