The Diamonds have beaten the Silver Ferns 68-51 thanks to a huge third quarter effort in Sydney.
Australia now have a 2-0 lead at the halfway point of the Constellation Cup with the series heading to New Zealand.
The Silver Ferns trailed by just two goals at half-time but by the end of the third quarter they trailed by 14.
Their unravelling in that 15 minutes, mirrored their fourth quarter horrors from Test one in Sydney, when they lost the Test 69-52.
Both sides fielded the exact same line-ups to Test one. The Diamonds were able to get all 12 players out by the end of the game.
The Diamonds forced two held balls in the first quarter including New Zealand's first attempt at goal through Martina Salmon.
The Silver Ferns struggled to get the ball down court, and Salmon lacked finesse on her offloads to Grace Nweke, giving the Diamonds defenders time to react.
The Diamonds shooters again looked slick and the home side led 19-13 at the end of the first quarter.

Interim Silver Ferns coach Yvette McCausland-Durie made a change by bringing Georgia Heffernan on for Salmon at goal attack.
Heffernan brought more structure to the attacking end and wing attack Mila Reuelu-Buchanan started launching more long ball into Nweke.
The Silver Ferns employed more of a zone defence in the second quarter and were able to slow down the Australians ever so slightly.
Goal keep Kelly Jackson finally got an intercept off a shooter-to-shooter pass and combined with Burger to force the Diamonds into a held ball.
Nweke came through a rough patch when she was being double teamed by the Australian defenders and missed some shots under the post.
The Silver Ferns finished fast to win the quarter by four goals to trail Australia 30-28 - the exact same scoreline as the first Test.

Parris Mason came on at goal defence, which saw Burger slide to wing defence after the main break.
A few minutes later, McCausland-Durie sent Burger back where she started to try to combat Georgie Horjus, who replaced Kiera Austin at goal attack at half-time.
The Silver Ferns put far too much pressure on Nweke and the goal shooter got herself in a tangle and was off balance on a number of occasions.
The Diamonds won the third quarter 21-9 to lead 51-37 heading into the final quarter.
Peta Toeava was injected at wing attack in the final spell, and Catherine Hall into goal keep, which saw Jackson go to the bench.
Toeava was finally able to pull the release valve by launching the ball immediately into Nweke, whenever she could.
The Silver Ferns started cutting into the lead while the Diamonds adjusted to the introduction of Sarah Klau at goal keep, and Cara Koenen at goal shoot.
But it didn't take them long and Jamie Lee-Price started getting on top of Toeava and Reuelu-Buchanan came back on for the last three minutes.
The next two Tests head to New Zealand, with the third Test in Hamilton on Sunday.
