Media agree in court to not publish personal details about Whale Oil blogger Cameron Slater, injunction bid dropped

The deal means Mr Slater's application for an injunction against publication of more of his emails and private Facebook messages has been dropped.
Justice Fogarty read the agreement in the High Court at Auckland this morning. However, it is not the end of the legal wrangle. Mr Slater's lawyer, John Billington, QC, said his client was asking to search the material already received by the media, including any not yet published. For the media, Julian Miles, QC, said that would be opposed.
