Another week, another Hollywood awards extravaganza. Today it's the 75th Emmy Awards, which are taking place in Los Angeles.
If you're thinking, 'but weren't these supposed to have happened last year?', you're right.
The Emmys were supposed to take place last September but they were postponed due to the now-resolved writers' and actors' strikes.
Succession, The Last of Us and The White Lotus lead the nominations for this year's Emmy TV awards.
Kiwi actress Melanie Lynskey nominated twice: for Outstanding Actress in a drama series for her role as Shauna in Yellowjackets, and for Outstanding Guest Actress in a series for playing Kathleen Coghlan in The Last Of Us.
She couldn't make the awards night as she has Covid-19.
Fresh from starring in a traffic-stopping Calvin Klein underwear campaign, Jeremy Allen White picked up the Emmy Award for Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as chef Carmy Berzatto in The Bear.

Claire Danes is nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Limited Series, Movie, or Anthology for her role in Fleischman Is In Trouble. This is her eighth nomination (she's previously won three Emmys).
