Millions of Australians are choosing to vote early, ahead of Saturday's Federal Election.
The Australian Federal Election Commission said four million Australians have already cast their vote, with nearly half of all the 18 million registered voters expected to do so before Saturday.
RNZ Reporter Corin Dann spoke to a number of voters casting their ballot at the Randwick Town Hall in the Electorate of Wentworth on Wednesday morning.
Most told him that the high of cost of living was their key concern along with difficulties for young people being able to acquire housing. Other voters in the inner Sydney electorate maintained the environment and climate change was the key concern.
Some praised Labor's leader Anthony Albanese for bringing stability to Australian politics over the last few years, however, others felt the Liberal led Coalition under Peter Dutton would do a better job managing the economy and easing the cost of living pressure.

The latest polling has Labor ahead of the Liberal coalition on a two party preferred basis.
However, its thought Labor if it does win may struggle to form a majority government and it will be reliant on independent MPs.
